Dr. Deepulal P M is a highly skilled marine researcher and survey professional with over 20 years of experience in marine operations and data collection. Since starting his career in 2005 as a Chemical Oceanographer, he has made significant contributions to various national and international institutions, including CUSAT, CSIR-NIO, DRDO-NPOL, and PML in the UK.

He has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed international articles and a book chapter. His areas of expertise include marine analytical chemistry and the operation of onboard instruments across different research vessels.

Furthermore, he served as a POGO-SCOR visiting fellow at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory in the UK

Partner and Operations Chief

I hold a Ph.D. in Marine Science from CUSAT and am one of the pioneers in the field, with over 22 years of research experience in marine chemistry and physical oceanography, including 9 years of post-doctoral work in Environmental Sciences. My professional journey includes key roles at renowned institutions such as NIO, CUSAT, KUFOS, MGT-Australia, and Plymouth Marine Laboratory (UK), where I served as a POGO-SCOR Fellow. With more than 250 days of sea-going experience, I bring extensive expertise in marine instrumentation and advanced analytical techniques.

I have authored 30 scientific articles published in international journals, reflecting a strong commitment to advancing marine science. Currently, I contribute to the Chief Minister’s Rebuild Kerala Initiative at CUSAT and am honored to be a recipient of the Chief Minister’s Navakerala Fellowship, reinforcing my dedication to scientific excellence and sustainable environmental solutions
